If you reside within our service area of Carefree, Cave Creek, North Phoenix, or North Scottsdale in Arizona we will have a staff member visit with you in your home and introduce you to all the services that will fit your needs.
Services
We want you to get adequate nutrition so if you need them, we’ll deliver meals to you at lunchtime. We deliver meals on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; you can request weekend meals to be delivered on Fridays, too.
Volunteers provide transportation for Neighbors to and from medical appointments. Neighbors must call ten (10) days in advance to provide the date, time, and location of their appointment.
We have a fleet of (8) vans, (5) of which have accessibility features: (4) vans have lifts and (1) van has a ramp. Group transportation for Neighbors is provided for social outings, lunch, shopping, and other fun community events!
Volunteer handyperson aids with minor home repairs such as changing lightbulbs, air filters, and or smoke alarms. Neighbor is responsible for purchasing parts or supplies needed.
Volunteer assisted or provided grocery shopping. Neighbors can do their own grocery shopping with Volunteer help or provide a shopping list to a Volunteer who will shop for them.
Volunteer spends consistent and ongoing quality time building a friendship with a Neighbor. Volunteer visits may include chatting, playing games, hobbies, or traveling to social outings for coffee or lunch.
Volunteers and their furry friends share quality time and unconditional love with a Neighbor for a one-hour visit.
Volunteer spends quality time with a Neighbor, allowing their primary caregiver to take a break or run errands. Visits may include chatting, playing games, or other hobbies.
Basic Technology Help
Volunteer helps navigate the internet, computer, TV, cell phone, or other technology which might require assistance.
