Did you know that we’ve been supporting our Neighbors in need for nearly 25 years?
That’s a quarter-century of helping our neighbors maintain their independence by providing food, human and pet companionship, mobility and transportation assistance, minor home repairs, and more.
We’d love to do what we do for another 25 years, but we need your help.
Without caring volunteers and thoughtful donations, we can’t do what we do.

Susie Bradstock dreamed her entire life of being a cowgirl. Her dreams came true when she finally got a horse, began riding, and joined women’s equestrian groups. Susie spent time building her skills on tough trail rides filled with challenges but also packed with adventure and camaraderie.
Who could have known that a single mosquito bite would change all that?
In October 2021, Susie embarked on the fight of her life after contracting West Nile virus. Instead of fulfilling her dreams on horseback, she found herself in a wheelchair. The mosquito-borne illness had robbed her of the use of her arms or legs.
As if Susie wasn’t unstoppable before, now she’s a force of nature.
She dug into her rehabilitation, determined to regain some of her independence. Susie relearned to use her hands, walk, and get out of bed without the aid of a lift. Her path has been challenging, but just like a grueling trail ride, Susie is focused on the journey and the finish line.
With the help of our incredible volunteers and wheelchair-accessible vans, Susie was empowered to work relentlessly at reclaiming her abilities. Recently, she was able to get a new electric wheelchair. Ever selfless, Susie donated her previous chair to another Neighbor.
One of our volunteers, the gregarious, get-it-done guy that is Larry Hansen, has become friends with Susie. Larry makes it his mission to be her driver to neuro-physical therapy as often as possible. Volunteers like Larry are why we’re able to continue helping our Neighbors.
We are so grateful for Larry and all our volunteers, and we’re proud to help Susie on her quest to walk again.
But we need YOUR support to be there for Susie and other Neighbors in need.
Will you join us? Every contribution makes a difference when it comes to caring for our Neighbors. There are many ways to give, and your time, monetary donation, or legacy gift is much appreciated.
